Also known as the Awafi Ras Al Khaimah Rally, this was a rerun of the last rally held in 2009. Fast stages through the deserts of Ras Al Khaimah, Mark Powell and Gary Wheeler powered the Subaru powered Predator X-18 to second place, thereby retaining the overall lead in the rally championship!

Shortly after the success in the UAE, the Team then travelled to Qatar for the Qatar Baja. We achieved 4th overall (25 cars entered) and 1st 2WD car despite three punctures. The event was a navigational nightmare and everyone got lost at some stage - including the winner, Nasser Al Attiyah. But we got there in the end!

The crowning glory in our rallying career so far! This was the first outing of the Subaru powered Predator X-18 which we had spent quite a few weeks converting. Still in testing mode, we won the event overall by a margin of 8 minutes and 13 seconds.

Yet another shot at the title - this time with two Predator X-18S race cars. Quin Evans flew in from the UK to codrive for Mark Powell in the white buggy and Checco Tonnetti and Alex Spagna arrived from Italy to pilot the black buggy. The main aim for this event was to get both cars to the finish ramp as these were the first time the Predator X-18S would enter a FIA event. We managed it with Mark & Quin achieving 15th overall and Checco & Alex achieving 20th overall.

Since the early days Team Saluki strived to generate publicity - the amount that we have achieved over the few years that we have been on the rally circuit is certainly very impressive!
